For those Frequent Floaters who enjoy small-ship luxury cruising, American Express rolled out a targeted deal for Silversea Cruises: spend $1,000 or more and earn 25,000 American Express® Membership Rewards®. Enrollment is required and terms apply.

We value American Express® Membership Rewards® points at about 1.5 cents each (and that’s relatively conservative). So, the bonus points promotion is worth around $375 (in our opinion).

Seabourn Amex Offer Exclusions

The offer specifically excludes the following unless booked at the time of reservation:

  • Silversea air programme
  • hotel programme
  • baggage valet programme
  • spa appointments
  • expeditions
  • shore excursions
  • insurance
  • purchases made in currencies other than US Dollars

  • purchases onboard
  • purchases made at the Silversea Shop

With a fleet of 13 ships ranging in size from just 51 to a very modest 364 suites, Silversea covers the globe with these elegant ships.  Silversea recently rolled out their Summer 2025 New Voyages Collection Gems and Icons.  These new cruises feature a number of Expedition Cruises ranging from 7 days to more than 40 days. One particular cruise caught my eye as we have an upcoming cruise to the Galapagos Islands this fall. a bird on a branch

We love a cruise in the “shoulder” season in the Mediterranean and this Athens to Athens journey looks like a fun one.

We’ve seen similar offers in the past like this Sweet Seabourn American Express Offer: Earn 50,000 Bonus Points!.  It pays to keep an eye out for these AmEx offers from your favorite cruise lines or maybe an opportunity to try a cruise line or ship.
