For those Frequent Floaters who enjoy small-ship luxury cruising, American Express rolled out a targeted deal for Seabourn Cruises: earns an additional 5 American Express® Membership Rewards® points per eligible dollar spent, up to 50,000 points (capped at $10,000 in spend). Enrollment is required and terms apply.
We value American Express® Membership Rewards® points at about 1.5 cents each (and that’s relatively conservative). So, the bonus points promotion is worth around $750 (in our opinion).
I received the offer on my card_name, but I imagine this is also offered on other American Express cards. For those with multiple cards in your household targeted by this offer, you may want to split payments on these pricey cruises to maximize your points. The offer is good through September 15, 2023.
Seabourn Amex Offer Exclusions
The offer specifically excludes the following unless booked at the time of reservation:
- shore excursions
- cancellation protection plan (Seabourn Shield)
- Flight Ease
- Seabourn land/hotel program
- pre- and post- transfers
- local tour operator
- drive/guide
- car and driver
- baggage insurance
- luggage shipping service
A quick spin around Seabourn.com showed that there are a number of great-looking cruises featuring Australia as the star attraction.
