It is April. I can not believe it is already April. We are talking the start to Alaska season for ships as well as European and Baltic cruises. I have one of the those booked over the coming months and can not wait. But for now a look back at last week.
- If you really want to find some of the cheapest cruises per day you have to consider a transatlantic cruise. I book one almost every single year and love them. See if they are for you.
- ThatGuy had just another neat post about some of the secrets about crew life onboard. Do you know how special it is to have someone on a ship – right now – sharing his perspective of working on a cruise ship week after week?
- Our Royal Caribbean fan MJ has a fun post about some new Iconic bars on, you guessed it, Icon of the Seas. What a stunning and HUGE ship this is.
- I made the mistake of using the nasty word “enhancement” to describe the new very positive changes to the Norwegian elite program (sorry). But it really is a nice small upgrade that makes me want to sail NCL even more.
- Lastly most of us have to fly to where we are boarding our ships. If you can fly for free – your cruise will be that much cheaper right? Check out the sweet Citibank AA offer.
I am on land this week but since it is going to be near 80* in South Bend Indiana for many days I will not miss the sea as much. Time to get the house ready for spring and look at where I can score some more points to pay for my next great adventure. You? – René
