If you need to top off your American Airlines AAdvantage account or want to kick the tires on AA, check out one of the carrier’s co-branded credit cards.

The card_name doesn’t feature as many bells and whistles as the card_name, which includes Admirals Club® membership and the ability to earn bonus Loyalty Points. (But that card also carries a annual_fees annual fee.)
But it’s still a decent card for people dipping their toes into the American Airlines world.
How Many Points Can You Earn?
The card earns 2X points per dollar spent on eligible American Airlines purchases, at gas stations, and at restaurants. All other eligible purchases earn 1X point.
Plus, cardholders earn 1 Loyalty Point for every 1 eligible AAdvantage mile earned from purchases.
Travel Perks
Like other airline cards, it offers boarding, inflight purchase, and luggage perks:
- The first checked bag is free on domestic American Airlines itineraries for the cardholder and up to four companions traveling with the cardholder on the same reservation. That benefit alone is worth up to $300 each roundtrip.
- Preferred boarding on American Airlines flights
- 25% savings on inflight food and beverage purchases on American Airlines flights when paying with the card
Time to Set Sail!
Many cruisers need to fly to/from a trip’s port. Points and miles can save you a chunk of change on those travels.
We know this is a limited-time offer — but haven’t yet been told when exactly it expires. See the current welcome offer now!
