Card Features and Benefits

Much like its personal/consumer counterpart, there are a couple of features we like about the IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card.

Number one: the annual Anniversary Night starting the second year of card membership. This can help save small business owners some money on lodging — or treat your loved ones to a room during vacation! You can redeem it for a night valued at up to 40,000 points. If you need a night valued at more than 40,000, just use your IHG points to make up the difference. (Remember that IHG is a Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer partner.)

Number two: the Fourth Night Free benefit. When you book an award stay (with points) for three consecutive nights, you can stay a fourth night for 0 points. Again, this is a big saver on business trips and vacations.

Cardmembers are given IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status. This comes with perks such as:

  • Room upgrades (when available)
  • Guaranteed room availability
  • Complimentary internet
  • Priority check-in
  • Late check-out
  • Welcome amenity (usually 500 points or a free alcoholic beverage)
  • $30 In-room spa credit
Crowne Plaza HY36
Crowne Plaza HY36

Finally, you can earn a Global Entry, TSA PreCheck® or NEXUS statement credit of up to $100 every 4 years as reimbursement for the application fee charged to your card. Remember that you can always “gift” that benefit to someone else if you already have (or don’t want) it.
