I can not wait for my next cruise. You know the joke is true that the best cruise really is the next one (and the next and the next and so on)! Living in the cold and sometimes snowy Midwest it is great to be able to get to sea. But first a look back on last week:

Do you have to dress up on Holland America formal or fancy nights? Do you have to bring a coat and tie? Just what is acceptable and what is not. We dive in.

2023 was the first full year for the blog and we had a few posts that were widely viewed. Take a look at the top 10 list to see if you saw them all.

Our man onboard has another fascinating post about what styles crew can wear when working to take care of you onboard. As you can imagine they are rather restrictive.

I personally am not a fan of TikTok and especially so when idiots offer cruise advise that could down right be dangerous if followed. Take a look and see what I mean.

Lastly Chris is featuring some really impressive card offers (including 10x points) that you should consider and is ending soon. I am always working to earn and burn points every year by both adding cards, meeting the spend, then looking into what could be next!

Enjoy this winter weekend everyone. If you are a skier out west looks like a fantastic dump is on the way. If you are on a cruise – I am jealous but happy for you! – René
