I have been such a land lover this week taking care of home based projects like installing a new ceiling fan and replacing a dishwasher that died. It so makes me miss being on a ship where I don’t need to worry about stuff like that. But enough about me, let’s look at the last week on the blog:

Can you even imagine your cruise, that is now inside the zero refund window, has been canceled by someone other than you and you arrive at port and told you may not board? It can happen to you if you are not careful. Take a look.

Michael has begun his review of the Oceania Sirena and it looks fabulous. The more I sail on mega ships the more I see the appeal of smaller vessels. Oh and yes the Panama Canal is a bucket list for me.

Speaking of Oceania, Michael also breaks down how we can save a ton of cash, that is, discounts on Oceania cruises. I love cruising in luxury at a discount – you?

Have you ever broken down the average prices for vacations to say Disney or a Ski trip or others compared to a cruise? The numbers really are eye opening.

Lastly if you have never collected Aeroplan points this is your chance to get 70,000 bonus points and see just how amazing this program really is to get you to your cruise port in style!

Have a safe and great holiday weekend everyone! If you are staying home then I suggest you look at where you want to cruise in 2025 and start making plans now. – René
