My next cruise adventure is still months away (I have had two recently so don’t cry for me) but I am starting to get excited about it. It has been a long time since I experienced a Carnival cruise and it will be interesting to see what this one is like so stay tuned as they say. For now the week that was:

Just about every cruise ship I have been on the drink package is straight forward and simple – really not so much with MSC. Did you know some drinks you pay full price even with a package? Take a look.

ThatGuy onboard who has spent most of his adult life working on cruise ships has a post where you can ask him anything. The funny thing is his recap of posts (that got TONS of views) I think answered just about all of them. See if you have a new question?

One of the things most folks hate about cruising is how PACKED the deck can be with your fellow passengers. There are ways to have privacy onboard and if you are sailing on Holland America I strongly suggest looking into “The Retreat” because for $50 per day it is the best money spent onboard. There is also a video review included in the post.

Living in Florida is great for those who are Frequent Floaters and want quick access to lots of cruise ships but embezzling from your boss, to the tune of 1.6 Million, and spending the cash on Carnival cruises is not the best idea – yikes!

Chris is back this week with another great card offer. How great? How HUGE? How about 250,000 points for one card (after spend). Check it out as it is a LTO.

If you are on a cruise this weekend – I want to be you – and I am jealous. I am spending my weekend working on building up my UR points balance to be able to book my next adventure 100% free (including onboard tips)! – René
