September is here! For me I have just this week placed my grape order (I make my own wine) but temps in the mid 90s is just crazy this time of year. Then again this winter I will look out the window and long for days like today so I should maybe stop complaining? Speaking of complaining – look at this past week aboard:
Lot’s of readers wanted to see my thoughts about what I would do differently on my first ever Alaska cruise. No matter when you go it is an expensive adventure so it is wise to take some things into consideration.
Being a Frequent Floater I am not happy with the fact that a trend is developing to ban cruise ships at ports. There are solutions to stop this from spreading. See if you agree with me.
Chris has a great post about a card I hold year after year that has tons of big credits that I max out. Do you? Don’t leave free cash on the table.
Who knew you could take a cruise with your dog or cat? Don’t have one? Then you can simply “rent” one for your cruise (the choices look like a dating site – kinda weird if you ask me)!
Lastly Michael has a review of connecting is Brussels. I have only personally been once years ago on a Delta mileage run with what I called my “BRU” boys – ah, good times!
Have a great weekend everyone and please stay safe if you are on the road or in the air or at sea this holiday weekend! – René
