We are floating along and almost to June. My good friend Mike West just got back from an Alaska cruise. I have never done one of those but looking forward to one one day! But first a review of the week that was.

Our resident Royal Caribbean expert MJ has a great post about RCI yet again overselling a cruise ship. Why does this keep happening and what to do if this happens to you!

I would never have dreamed that any ship could be so big that it could cause an issue for airplanes landing – but they can. Check it out and an amazing video.

There is a LTO card offer that may already be dead by the time this post goes live. It is a solid offer you should consider before it goes away.

What is the best size cruise ship. Mega ship or mid size? What are the pros and cons of each. We dive in.

Lastly there is a really funny video about cruising. They are picking on all the negative things and never touch on all the positives but it is worth watching for a grin.

I can not believe how low I have pushed all my airline points down to. Yes, it has been a goal because, as we have seen this past week with the massive 33-50% cut in United points value, points should be burned not saved as they always drop in value. But now, with many sailings booked over the next 2 years, I need to get to work and get some more. – René
