  1. Maybe Carnival will go the Delta route and make status to be based on total spending. There’s a thought. When everybody is Diamond, nobody is a Diamond.

    More likely, just change the wording to “benefits may include” meaning you might or might not get those. Just depends

  2. I went on a 16 night Panama Canal Journeys cruise from Miami to Seattle this year and it was basically the same. These long voyages attract people that do a LOT of cruising. Most of these people already have high tier status with the cruise line. There was a guy with a service dog down the hall from me and even his service dog was Diamond with Carnival.
