This past week was the first “full” week of the newly launched Frequent Floaters and what a week it was.

ThatGuy onboard post was really popular with tips when (and it happens all the time btw) your cruise line cancels a schedule port day or changes where you are going.

Chris had a great post on the Celebrity X Amex offer that I will be crushing and saving a ton on an upcoming cruise (more on that later).

Speaking of deals, and the reason you should check the blog often each day or follow on Twitter, we had a chance to get real value of our Delta Skymiles as one couple picked up a 5 day cruise in a balcony on NCL for just 88,000 Skymiles or about $880 in real cash value – well done!

Do you gain too much weight on a cruise? Are there simple things you can do that will have a positive impact on your waist but at the same time not reduce the fun onboard? René has some simple tips that work!

How do you get from the airport to the hotel to the ship and back? Mike has a great review using Princess Cruise Lines Transfers. Is it worth it or go on your own?

Ever done back to back cruises? Freshman tells us why on RCI it is a really smart thing to do. On NCL it is a little different and I will post about that later. How is it on your favorite line?

Yesterday, Friday the 13th, was the sad 11th anniversary of the Costa Concordia disaster. What happened to the ship afterwards? Time lapse video shows us it’s end.

Thanks again for reading the blog and following us on social media including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Flipboard! – René
