Rakuten’s annual Big Give promotion is live this week — and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express members currently have a major opportunity to take advantage of their Dell benefit.

Amex Business Platinum Benefit

Cardholders may earn up to $400 in statement credit each year for eligible purchases made through Dell. This is divvied into two six-month periods: $200 in statement credit from January through June; then $200 from July through December. These opportunities are if-used and do not roll over.

Enrollment is required. Terms apply.

Rakuten’s Big Give Week

Rakuten’s Big Give Week offers members 15% cashback or 15X American Express Membership Rewards points for eligible purchases made through various merchants.

Shopping sessions must be initiated through Rakuten’s website or the Rakuten app.

Dell Technolgies is currently a Rakuten Big Give Week participant. But here’s the thing: these merchants vary by day.

If you’re not yet a Rakuten member, you can sign up now for free. You’ll earn $40 bonus cashback after spending $40 in purchases (which you can easily do with Dell — or another merchant) within 90 days of becoming a Rakuten member. (This is our referral link — thank you!)

So, if your eligible Dell purchase is $200, you should earn $30 cashback. If you’re a new Rakuten member, that adds up to an additional $40.

In other words, new Rakuten members who hold the The Business Platinum Card® from American Express can end up paying (in the long run) $130 on a $200 subtotal.

Plus, we’ve also heard of some Amex Offers for Dell purchases floating around.

Go now: shop, save, and enjoy!
