I am seeing “back to school” stuff in stores already (is it not still near midsummer?)! I have booked a fall golf trip to northern Michigan with my pals and working on what else I can squeeze in before year end but am just about out of days and that is maybe a good thing I think. Oh and look how busy the week that was was!

In my review of my Alaska adventure this week I focus on the Alaska Railroad from Anchorage to Seward. I was told it would be a highlight of my trip even before I got on the ship. They were so right. Take a look.

I have two “free” cruises booked over the next year or so and am looking at a few more since “player two” has yet to go for any offers. That said the offers, while nearly free, are not free if you keep adding add-on bits like I am doing but still well worth it for luxury travel. See if you agree.

How often do you go see your doctor? If you have need of help you always call 911 and get help quickly. What about crew? What is their care onboard like? ThatGuy tells us.

Do you cruise to shop for stuff onboard? Artwork? Jewelry? What about photos of a lifetime? We dive in.

Lastly, Chris covers some hotel cards that provide great value. As I always preach here on the blog we need to reduce costs of our cruise adventure and free hotel nights really help do just that.

I hope you are having a safe and fun extended holiday week and are either on a ship right now or dreaming of your next great adventure! – René
