With all the simply insane weather going on around the world I have to say I am kinda happy NOT to be traveling this week. Oh and the forecast at home will be wicked HOT so I guess I will be inside (is it winter yet)! Let’s review the exciting week that was on the blog:
Both my wife and I were approved for the Chase 100,000 point INK cards and I have already completed my spend and got the points. If you are over 5/24 you may want to apply as many reports are saying this card is not impacted by this nasty rule!
We all have our favorite things we bring on a cruise and I have just ordered a new item that I can not wait to try – no it is not an in-cabin cinema like this guy did.
Are you planning on a cruise from Venice? You may want to review Michael’s post this week as he has been impacted by the changes to that port city.
Have you ever tried your hand at panning for gold? I have and I totally get the “gold fever” and it is so much fun. You really need to try it.
Have you ever been told your departure port has changed? Not just changed but changed countries? Yikes! Take a look what happened.
Have a great weekend everyone and please stay safe wherever you are and keep an eye to the skies! – René
