This week, being stuck on dry land, I spent much of my time making a bunch of spend on travel cards. I have a goal of harvesting $3,000 in rewards this month and am almost at my goal! But more on that later. Now the week that was.

You have to hurry to have a chance at a bunch of 15x cash back offers. The stores rotate around so if your favorite one is not at 15x (or 15% back) today then check again on Sunday as this sweet offer is almost gone!

Did you know you can use a cruise credit card for an upgrade to balcony for just a tiny bit more points than they give you for getting the card? This really opened my eyes and I bet you did not know about the perk either.

Our cruise luggage that has been a faithful companion for hundreds of nights at sea is just about ready to go away for good. We have some very good ideas for replacement cruise luggage. See if you agree.

If you are a Carnival cruiser then you need to pay attention to this sweet hack to save as much as 14% off gift cards that you can very liberally use onboard or paying for a cruise or even excursions and more!

I can not believe a guy hid a camera in a family bathroom, filming children no less, on a Royal Caribbean cruise. They caught the guy and I hope they lock him up for a very very long time!

Would you be shocked that some of the best BBQ I have ever had in my life was in a specialty restaurant on an NCL ship? No really it was that good. I can not wait to return.

There are so many good travel card offers right now that it is hard to stop applying for new deals. Thankfully there are many creative ways to get the spend done on new cards so my guess is I will be adding more over the week ahead! Happy sailing everyone. – René
